VSI promotes government and private initiatives to support Veterans and Veteran issues by providing corporate time, resources and capabilities.

Partnering with the Transition Employment Assistance Management Service (TEAMS) Program:

• Coordinate Employment and Transition Assistance
• Develop Training and Employment Opportunities
• Develop Job Shadowing Programs
• Participate in Human Resource Activities supporting Program Goals
• Walter Reed Army Medical Center Memo Of Understanding with VSI

Community Initiatives in Support of Our Veterans:

• Sponsorship of HOHF Holiday Party
• Sponsorship HOHF Golf Tournament
• Navy League Picnic
• Annual Veteran Fundraiser

American Red Cross Support:

• Direct Assistance in National Military Medical Centers
• Morale, Welfare and Recreation Programs
  • Counseling/Mentoring, Care Package items, Field trips

VSI Assistance Programs:

• Assist Vets from return to re-employment and beyond
• Partnering with WRAMC TEAMS, American Red Cross and other programs
• Work with Vets through their process at our medical centers
• Resume build workshop with follow-up support
• Obtaining or upgrading clearances (if necessary)
• Retraining (if necessary) based on capabilities and desires
